We can describe this, as a
full-loop around Huayhuash. It’s a 12-day hike all around the
range. Basic itinerary includes beautiful lakes such as Jahuacocha,
Carhuacocha, Mitucocha and astonishing views of the West and East
flanks. Outstanding snow peaks as Yerupaja (Peru’s second highest
mountain), Siula, Jirishanka, Ninashanca, etc, are seen along this
hike.
Day-to-day itinerary: Huaraz or Caraz to Chiquian
by bus, overnight, meet mule drivers and staff. Preparation for the
trek, camping gear check and rest.
